17) Zion NP Utah

We made it to Zion National Park…This park is so pretty and has some crazy hikes! we had a blast here

The views in every direction were breathtaking. At Zion there is a mandatory shuttle bus that will take you where you need to be which made it so much easier on us.
We first hiked to Emerald Pools. This is honestly overrated and not worth the hike:/ the water fall was dried up and the first 2 pools were more like mud holes, but it’s still a good hike and it’s probably beautiful at the upper falls when the water is flowing!

However, our next hike was soooo much FUN! We’ve never hiked on a trail like this before. We’ve done hikes where we walk alongside a river or cross it a couple times, but never done a hike IN a river! The trail is the river itself and it felt so good to cool off in that water!

We had a great time. It was more like playing than hiking!
And it was GORGEOUS! The water was so clear!

The next day we tackled Angels Landing! This is one of the most dangerous hikes in the U.S and it requires a permit to hike this trail. We didn’t take many pictures or videos of it because of the insane trail, so if you would like to know more about it you can look it up😂

Dad did not participate in this hike. Your hiking on the edge of a cliff about 1400 feet up! We enjoyed every second of it! It was pretty windy up there though 😬that made moma a lil nervous…this is a must do when you go to Zion!
Kenna had a visiter during lunch! He climbed into her backpack and even crawled up in her lap looking for food😂it’s a good thing this girl is used to have a squirrel climb her!
We did a small hike to finish up the day to a secret waterfall! It was a super fun hike. We scaled rock walls and crossed creeks to find this lil hideaway.
We swam in the pools and even jumped off the rocks into the deeper spots! But Kaleigh dropped her sunglasses down a rock side and into the water and had to swim up under a boulder to get them back!

This was our Airbnb! We slept in the upstairs of this rustic barn on the ranch! It was so cool. Everything was hand crafted by Clint, the owner of this property. From our bedroom window we could see some of the cattle and horses. We even got to watch him break a couple new horses!

Their youngest daughter took the girls around the ranch and showed them all the animals and took them in the pens!

This was an amazing national park and one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. it was such a cool experience and right up our alley with all the animals!
