13.5) Kings Canyon NP California

Kings Canyon is located right next to Sequoia and also has some GIANT sequoia trees! This park is so pretty from the mountain tops to the the Kings river down in the valley.

This is just one of the trees along a trail in the park not even one of the largest!
The drive through this park is so pretty along the river! We had to get out and look at it and stick our toes in the water 💕
We made a quick stop at Grizzly falls. It’s only .1 mile and very shallow but still a pretty waterfall.
We hiked 2.25 miles to get to Roaring River Falls. It was a beautiful hike through meadows and along side the creek.
The girls jumped in this cold water a couple times then laid out to dry on the rocks.

We ended the day with Hume lake! There’s a summer camp down here and teens everywhere playin games out by the water. It looked like a lot of fun! The girls wanna return for summer camp here😂

Our next stop on our way back home is YOSEMITE!
